Documentary on football fans – Wigan Athletic

September 18th, 2010 No comments
This Sunday there will be an independent film maker (ex BBC) visiting the Supporters Club (from 12.30 – 1.30) hoping to get our views on  our football team and what it is like being a supporter of a Premier League Club.

The guy’s name is Ron and he will set up his camera hoping to get some candid views on tape, he will only be asking Questions about the club, on field activities etc

He is NOT a tabloid journalist and at the end of the season he plans to edit a documentary about Premiership supporters.

He has already shot at two games, here are the films on You Tube to give you a feel for what he is after.

Blackpool v Fulham
Man City v Blackburn
Please come down and give this guy a hand and get some real views across rather than the lazy journo stuff that we usually have to put up with.

Warriors loss could also be ours

September 12th, 2010 No comments

After our lodgers lost tonight I believe that means they play less than 48 hours before our game against Manchester City. Let’s hope that Martinez realises that the state of the pitch is more than likely going to be a lot less than perfect for a football passing game.

Hopefully City’s legs will be tired and we can take adveantage of what will more than likely be a very heavy uneven pitch.
