I dont know if this post will ever be read and if so , by whom.
But, I just want to express my feelings regarding our current sitiation. I live in hope , as i suppose we all do that the Latics will pull together and deliver as they did last season…..but come what may,I believe that we should all support our club, Come what may.
Our club, our town…..we can never compete with the megga rich corporate owned prima donnas …BUT, we have our pride do we not?…….I just hope that for the rest of the season we go for it….win or loose….GO for broke, and that we can come away saying that the Latics gave all that they could.
Good luck……from an old (72.).. but young at heart, East stand supporter.

Ed: I assure you that there will be a few thousand reading this and most will be right behind you.
If you fancy socialising with other Latics fans, the Supporters Club Bar is located in the DW Fitness Suite under/at the back of the South Stand and is open before and after every home game for members to enjoy a drink, food and a chat in a warm friendly environment. We also put on members only draws with prizes like Match Day Hospitality, signed books and more.
The live match is normally shown and it is an ideal place to come before the game to get involved in the build up or after the game for the post match analysis. Please note that due to the late kick off for the Chelsea game, the Bar will not be open AFTER this game due to Christmas Party bookings.
We will be taking bookings for the trips to West Brom (leaving at 12.15 p.m., £13), Manchester United (leaving at 1.00 p.m., £10 and Stoke City leaving at 12.45 p.m., £12) full details are available on the Wigan Athletic Supporters Club web site.
We are taking deposits for an away weekender in Norwich for next March, the cost will be £125 for travel, two nights stay in the Holiday Inn on Carrow Road and transfers. Rooms are twin/doubles and places will sell out fast, so please come to the Supporters Bar to pay a £25 deposit to secure yours.
Memberships are still being taken for the 2011/2012 season, applications, renewals and coach bookings can be made in person at the Supporters Club Bar, or online on the web site….
There has been talk about organising a two night stay over for the Norwich game recently, well it isn’t talk anymore, we have the details….. Read more…

One of Wigan Athletic Supporters Club sponsors has had a major succes in getting one of our up and coming players through his practical driving test. Peter Mulqueeny now seems the preferred Instructor to newcomers at Latics and Nouha Dicko can’t say anything but nice things about his tutor.

The annual Ashton Athletic v Latics XI encounter will be on the 25th of this month and the money raised on the night will be donated to the Emma Hoolin Appeal.
Ashton Athletic veterans are to play host to Wigan Athletic past players in their annual charity game, this year in aid of the Emma Hoolin appeal.
Former Wigan Athletic players will provide the opposition for the Ashton Athletic veterans, and will see the likes of Stuart Barlow, David Glenn, Neil Rimmer and Kevin Langley pull on the Latics shirt once again, in order to do their bit for a good cause.
All the clubs facilities will be open on the night and we would welcome everyone to Ashton Athletic, for what we hope will be a successful and charitable evening.
