Wigan Athletic Supporters Club Membership 2011-2012
Wigan Athletic Supporters Club has been running for over 50 years now, providing travel to Wigan Athletic first team away games for its members. Last season we clocked up over 4500 miles, taking over 4,000 fans to away games and we are prepared for more next season. We are a non profit making organisation and that allows us to keep the costs low for travelling to away games.
Membership of the Supporters Club also allows entrance to the Wigan Athletic Supporters Club Bar, which provides a safe place for fans to go a couple of hours to chat and meet before and after all league and cup home games.
The bar is located under the South Stand of the DW Stadium in theDW Fitness Suite. The bar serves food, drinks (alcoholic and non alcoholic), has Sky Sports (so if there is an early match it will generally be shown); members can book for away travel, renew or apply for membership and details of any Supporters Club Events are also available there.
This season the Supporters Club has over 1200 members and every year our support is growing. Join us early for the 2011/2012 season by applying now for your membership. This web site is also a great place to come to keep up to date with the latest news, plus an area where you can add your news or viewpoint, all you need to do is register.
Every member is issued with their own membership card which will be needed for entry to the Supporters Bar and for booking and travelling on Supporters Club Coaches.
Members of WASC have the following entitlements:
• Executive coach travel with Mayfair Travel to each Wigan AthleticFirst Team away fixture
• Access to WASC organised events such as Fans Forums or Special Dinners
• Travel on specially organised weekend trips to certain away games
• Entry into the Supporters Club Bar on site at the DW Stadium. Sky Sports shown with any early/late kick offs. Entertainment, alcoholic and soft drinks plus food are available.
• All of the above are for members only (subject to availability)
Cost of membership is £5.00 and the first 200 to apply or renew their memebrship will receive an exclusive ‘Wigan Athletic Supporters Club’ badge
Memberships can be applied for or renewed by calling in the Supporters Bar before home fixtures or by Clicking the ‘Pay Now’ with PayPal below. Obviously, by using the online option you will avoid the first home game rush and have a better chance of getting a badge.
